When you want to find the best food recommendations for your pet, where do you go? Online. When your pet is sick, where do you go? The veterinarian? Actually, you go online first. Then, maybe the veterinarian.
This is the information age, and people are more informed than ever before. But, could it also be the misinformation age, where people are more misinformed than ever before? The reality is, there is so much information out there that it can be difficult to separate the fake from the real.
Introducing Pet Health Sessions, brought to you by Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital. With Pet Health Sessions, our goal is to provide free, real expert information on pet healthcare to our community. We want to talk about things that may be controversial such as raw food diets. We want to talk about things that may be unconventional such as Fear Free veterinary visits. Ultimately, we want you to be well informed pet owners, able to make the best decisions regarding your pet’s health for your specific situation. There was a time when the decision making was just your veterinarian’s job. The information age has changed that. We want to empower you, and work together with you in the decision making process.
Our inaugural Pet Health Sessions event will take place on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 from 12pm-2pm. The focus will be on the evolution of the pet food industry. We will take a look at current trends, and dispel some common myths. Our speaker will be Dr. Jessica Wilson from JustFoodForDogs. Complimentary lunch will be provided, as well as “swag bags,” and raffle prizes. Attendance is free, but seating will be limited so call us at (949) 552-5200 to reserve your spot now. The event will be conveniently located in Irvine, but only those with reservations will be given the address.
We look forward to seeing you there!
