Shelby Veterinary Assistant

Shelby started her career in veterinary medicine in 2012 while volunteering with a local marine mammal rescue where she found her love for medicine and caring for animals, especially exotics. She is now one of our lead overnight technicians and also helps with our technical training and staff growth at IVVH. She has special interests in exotic, ER, and critical care medicine. She has extensive exotic training and has worked with many species of pets and wildlife. In her spare time Shelby enjoys being at the beach with her son Fisher and Golden Retriever Marley. She also shares her home with her other pets, an Eclectus Parrot named Mia and her domestic longhair feline named Oscar.
